Kitar Genesys is committed to continuously enhancing operational efficiency through ongoing improvement and upgrading initiatives across its facilities. These efforts are undertaken to ensure that every resource recovery process is carried out more efficiently, safely, and in an environmentally responsible manner.

Key facility upgrades implemented include:

• Compost Burner Machine Upgrade – Enhanced the processing capability of organic materials through a more stable, efficient, and high-performance combustion system.

• Plastic Cleaning & Separation Machine (Gibrik) Upgrade – Improved the plastic cleaning and separation process to produce higher-quality recyclable materials while increasing overall resource recovery rates.

Through these upgrades, Kitar Genesys is able to optimise landfill mining operations, improve the quality of recovered materials, and further support circular economy principles in sustainable solid waste management.
