Our extensive experience in waste disposal, landfill operations, waste treatment, and resource recovery has given us a deep understanding of the challenges facing Malaysia’s waste management sector. As waste generation continues to increase, landfill capacity is rapidly declining while the cost of developing and operating new disposal facilities continues to rise. At the same time, significant volumes of recyclable materials, plastics, organics, and combustible waste continue to be buried in landfills, consuming valuable airspace and shortening landfill lifespan.

We recognised early that sustainable waste management requires more than simply collecting, sorting, or disposing of waste. The key to long term success lies in transforming recovered materials into higher value products that support both environmental and commercial sustainability. This philosophy forms the foundation of Kitar Genesys. Through our integrated resource recovery approach, recovered organics are converted into soil conditioners and agricultural products, plastics are transformed into circular fuels and industrial feedstocks, combustible materials are upgraded into Refuse Derived Fuel, and recyclables are returned to the manufacturing supply chain. 

In doing so, we convert waste into valuable resources while reducing reliance on landfill disposal. Over the years, we have developed specialised expertise and proprietary technologies, including advanced biological treatment systems that neutralise harmful pathogens and stabilise recovered organic materials for safe agricultural use. We have also established innovative operational methods that minimise leachate contamination during landfill mining and resource recovery activities, improving operational efficiency and protecting processing equipment.
