As a pioneer in landfill mining technology in Malaysia, Kitar Genesys has designed and developed an innovative Material Recovery Facility (MRF) system at the Beris Lalang Landfill Site in Bachok, Kelantan, specifically for landfill mining operations. The system is engineered to optimise resource recovery through a combination of mechanical and manual separation processes, enabling valuable materials such as plastics, metals, glass, and organic matter to be recovered more efficiently.

At the same time, residual waste with potential value can be further processed into alternative resources, supporting the principles of a circular economy and sustainable solid waste management.
